London, New York, Bristol
2000
Print on Wood

London, New York, Bristol (Heavy Weaponry) (2000 ) was first exhibited in Banksy’s debut exhibition in Bristol, at the Severnshed restaurant.
The artwork features many motifs found in Banksy’s oeuvre – such as animals; a barcode, which can also be found in his artwork Barcode (2004); and references to London, New York and Banksy’s hometown of Bristol, cities that were instrumental to his journey as a world-renowned graffiti artist.
Three iconic locations for the artist in which he has displayed his "heavy weapons": his critique, humor, and questioning art.
